Here comes 2022, the year of optimism…… by Diana

Carol Bard once said ' Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending'. These were the words that woke me up from my slumber. I spent the major part of 2021 feeling sorry for myself. I honestly don’t know if there’s anyone else who felt the same way. Since the Covid-19 brouhaha, I feel like we’ve been stuck in an unending cycle. The never ending variants, travel bans here and there, total or partial lockdowns of different countries.  The travel industry was impacted heavily by covid-19 and many travel companies went out of business as a result of that.

2021 had its challenges but if there was anything else it had, it was hope. The hope that we will beat this virus eventually and we can live freely again. As we enter 2022, may we continue to keep that hope alive. May our faith never go weary and may 2022 be the year we have always dreamed of.

With a heart full of gratitude and humility, thank you to all our readers for your engagements, patronage and recommendations.

Baby Diana WOULD YOU RATHER? BIRTHDAY EDITION Birthdays come around once every year and for most of us, we celebrate our birthdays every year with almost the same energy. These celebrations don’t necessarily translate into large parties or extravagant spending but the energy invested into that special day. I consider myself a ‘birthdayzilla’😂. It’s almost impossible for my loved ones to forget my birthday because I start my countdown as early as a month before😈. As much as I love birthdays, I prefer to celebrate with just my close knit friends and family as opposed to having a birthday bash.
